Grants for young musicians

Following a bequest by a local businessman over 30 years ago, we established the Derby Concert Orchestra Trust Fund.

The Trust provides grants for young musicians in Derbyshire to support the costs of their musical education.  
The application form and guidance notes can be accessed by downloading below or by contacting the secretary.

How to apply

.Grants are awarded three times a year and the closing dates are 
25th January
25th May
25th September
Normally you may only apply once a year.

Who manages the Trust Fund?

The Trust is administered by a group of Trustees who are approved by the Derby Concert Orchestra. At the moment, the Trustees include the President of DCO as well as other members chosen by the DCO Committee.
